During the summer of 2011 we opened several new pools and rides. With much excitement we bring you: -

1. AquaTherapy

With its origins in Europe, where bathing culture is firmly established, a new form of water relaxation and massage has been developed known as AquaTherapy. Offering new dimensions in bathing to the many visitors to the Thermal Pools.

Each of the three pools will contain different elements of Aqua Therapy. One pool features a waterfall, the second has a series of water jets that massage your body and the third pool has two therapeutic features of water jets and air jets.

2. Freshwater Pool & Lazy River

Our freshwater swimming pool has "resort style" walk in beach access so people with disabilities can enter the pool more easily. It’s a bit cooler than the other pools at 28 degrees Celsius. 

The Lazy River treats bathers to a leisurely drift around the edge of the freshwater pool and is a huge hit with younger ones.

3. AquaPlay Area

A crazy mixture of water, fun, play and more water for the younger family members. The active and colourful water play centre is packed with water features including spray nozzles, jets, pull valves and other water adventure toys.

There are also two waterslides and overhead tipping bucket.

4. SuperBowl Ride

From WhiteWater the world's leading suppliers of aquatic thrill rides comes the newest addition to fun and excitement in Hanmer, and it's going to appeal to the whole family - even Mum!  Towering some 15 metres above the Hanmer complex riders will reach speeds of between 5-7 metres per second. The whole ride is negotiated on either a two person or single person inflatable tube making it fun and easy for everyone.
