Water Ride Rules
Before visiting the Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa please take a moment to read the rules for riding the new SuperBowl ride and our Waterslides.
We have these rules are in place for your safety and for the enjoyment of everyone visiting.
If you are unable to enjoy the SuperBowl and Waterslides we have plenty of fun alterntaives including the AquaPlay area (ideal for younger members of the family), the LazyRiver and our new freshwater pool.

SuperBowl Rules
If you do not comply with the rules you will not be permitted to ride
- Children under 5 years old may not ride
- Children under 1.2m must be accompanied by an adult (over 16 years old)
- Walking only
- Inflatable tubes must be carried not dragged
- Eyewear is not permitted
- Go on Green Light Only
- Only one inflatable tube allowed on the ride at a time
- Inflatable tube shall be ridden in seated position facing forward
- Riders must stay on the inner tubes during the ride
- At the end of the slide exit quickly, taking your inflatable tube with you
- All rides must obey the instructions of the Lifeguards
- A pass is required for this ride and can be purchased from reception for $10 per person for unlimited rides
- Caution for safety reasons pregnant women and persons with heart conditions or back trouble should not ride this slide
Waterslide Rules
If you do not comply with the rules you will not be permitted to slide
- Children under 5 years old may not ride.
- Children under 1.2m may not use the Waterslides
- Walking only
- Eyewear is not permitted
- Go on Green Light Only
- Go down feet first
- Do not stop inside the Waterslide
- Riding double, in chains or in groups is not allowed.
- At the end of the slide exit quickly
- All rides must obey the instructions of the Lifeguards
- A pass is required for the Waterslides and can be purchased from reception for $10 per person for unlimited rides
- Caution for safety reasons pregnant women and persons with heart conditions or back trouble should not ride this slide
